Understanding Plus hosts and the ×3 rate (FileJoker, FilesMonster, Upstore)

Why FileJoker, FilesMonster and Upstore count triple on DebridMaster, what a download from them really costs on pay-as-you-go and on the plans, and how to budget for them.

Most hosts on DebridMaster are standard: 1 GB downloaded counts as 1 GB. Three hosts are Plus: FileJoker, FilesMonster and Upstore. On these, every GB counts ×3 toward your credits or monthly quota. This guide explains why, shows the real cost in dollars, and gives you a few ways to keep it predictable.

Which hosts are Plus

Host Domain Class How DebridMaster serves it
FileJoker filejoker.net Plus (×3) Partner network
FilesMonster filesmonster.com Plus (×3) Partner network
Upstore upstore.net Plus (×3) Own premium account

Every other host, including Keep2Share, FileBoom and NitroFlare, is standard. The class is printed on each host card on the home page, in the “Class” column of the status page and at the top of each host’s own page, so you always know before you paste.

Why ×3

Traffic on these three hosts costs us far more than on the rest. Rather than hide that inside a higher price for everyone, or cap Plus downloads at a small number, DebridMaster passes the difference through as a multiplier and publishes it. A standard-host user is not subsidising Plus traffic, and a Plus-host user can see the exact rate in advance.

What it costs on pay-as-you-go

Pay-as-you-go is $0.50 per GB on standard hosts. Multiply by three for a Plus host: $1.50 per GB, still billed to the byte.

File size Standard host Plus host
500 MB $0.25 $0.75
1 GB $0.50 $1.50
2.5 GB $1.25 $3.75
5 GB $2.50 $7.50

Top-up bonuses apply to Plus downloads exactly like any other, because the bonus is on the credit, not on the host. A $20 top-up becomes $23.00 of credit, which is 46 GB on standard hosts or about 15.3 GB on Plus hosts. The pricing page’s calculator does this arithmetic for any file size.

As always, the charge happens only after the file has been downloaded to our server and verified. A dead FileJoker link costs $0, exactly like a dead standard link.

What it costs on the monthly plans

On the Pro and Premium plans (paid from your wallet), Plus hosts count like this:

  • Pro, 15 GB per month ($4.99): a 2 GB FilesMonster download uses 6 GB of the 15 GB quota. If you only downloaded from Plus hosts, the plan would cover 5 GB of files.
  • Premium, 40 GB per month ($9.99): the same 2 GB file uses 6 GB of 40; all-Plus usage would cover about 13.3 GB of files.
  • Overage past the quota is charged per counted GB: $0.40 on Pro and $0.30 on Premium, so a 1 GB Plus-host file over quota is $1.20 on Pro or $0.90 on Premium.

Rollover works on counted GB as well: up to 5 GB of unused Pro quota (10 GB on Premium) carries into the next month.

The free tier and Plus hosts

The free tier (2 files a day, up to 512 MB each) covers standard hosts only. Plus hosts need credits — the smallest top-up is $2, which is enough for a 1.3 GB Plus download.

Daily bandwidth on Plus hosts

Beyond the multiplier, each host has its own published daily bandwidth per user, reset at 00:00 UTC. The current number for each is on its host page: FileJoker, FilesMonster, Upstore. If a large batch would exceed the daily figure, spread it over two days rather than queueing everything at once.

Keeping Plus spending predictable

  • Check the class before pasting. The badge on the host card says “PLUS ×3”. If a file is mirrored on both a Plus host and a standard host, the standard mirror costs a third as much.
  • Use the calculator. On the pricing page, pick the host class and enter the file size to see the cost on pay-as-you-go and each plan.
  • Top up in bigger steps if you know you will use it. Credits never expire, so the +15 % at $20 and +20 % at $50 bonuses effectively lower the Plus rate to about $1.30 and $1.25 per GB respectively.
  • Watch the status page. FileJoker and FilesMonster are checked around the clock like every other host, and their live availability and 7-day success rate are published. A failed attempt costs nothing, but you can avoid the wait by checking first.

Summary

Plus hosts are not a penalty; they are the honest price of three expensive hosts, shown up front. On pay-as-you-go a Plus GB is $1.50 instead of $0.50, and on the plans it draws three times the quota. Everything else — verification before the charge, $0 for dead links, resumable downloads valid for 72 hours — is identical to standard hosts.
