DebridMaster's free daily downloads: limits and how they work
Two files a day, up to 512 MB each and 1 GB in total, on standard hosts. Every free-tier rule in one place - the wait, the cooldown, link lifetime, and what is blocked.

Most debrid services have no free option at all, or a short trial that turns into a subscription. DebridMaster has a small, permanent free tier instead: a couple of files a day, no payment details, no trial clock. It exists so you can see how the service behaves on a real file before putting money on it.
It is deliberately limited. This page lists every rule, with the exact numbers, so nothing comes as a surprise halfway through a download.

Paid downloads have none of the per-file size limit, the wait or the cooldown. They are governed by the per-host daily caps instead, covered below.
How a free download works
- Sign in at /app with your email address. An account is required so the daily allowance has somewhere to be counted.
- Paste a link from a standard host, such as Keep2Share, FileBoom or NitroFlare. The file must be 512 MB or smaller.
- Choose the free option. The file is fetched to our server and verified — exact size, real file, not an error page — exactly as a paid download is. The full pipeline is in how DebridMaster works.
- Wait 60 seconds. A countdown runs before the free link unlocks.
- Download. The link stays valid for 24 hours and supports resume.
After that, the next free download is available 30 minutes later, as long as you are still within 2 files and 1 GB for the day.

Why each limit exists
Free downloads cost us real premium traffic on the host side. Each rule targets a specific kind of abuse rather than ordinary users.
512 MB per file, 1 GB per day. Enough to test a real file — an episode, an archive, a document set — without the free tier becoming a way to move large volumes. Two 512 MB files use the whole 1 GB.
Standard hosts only. FileJoker, FilesMonster and Upstore are Plus hosts: they cost us about three times as much per GB, which is why they are billed at ×3 on paid downloads. Offering them for free would not be sustainable. The reasoning is in understanding Plus hosts.
60-second wait and 30-minute cooldown. These slow down scripted use. For a person fetching one or two files, a minute’s wait is a minor inconvenience; for a bot trying to cycle through many accounts, it adds up.
VPN, proxy and disposable email blocks. The daily allowance is per person. VPNs, proxies and throwaway inboxes are the usual way to create many “people”. The block applies only to free downloads; paid downloads are not affected by it.
24-hour links. Paid links last 72 hours; free links last 24. Download the file the same day you fetch it.

A third file on the same day, even a small one, needs a paid download.
If a free download fails
The same verification runs on free downloads. If the file turns out to be deleted, truncated or an error page, it is marked failed. A failed file does not use up your allowance, so you can try another link.
If a file keeps failing, look at the status page for that host and open the link on the host itself to see whether the file still exists.
When it is time to pay
The free tier is for trying the service and for the occasional small file. Past that, paid downloads are priced per GB with no subscription:

On plans, Plus hosts use quota ×3. Current prices and a calculator are on the pricing page. Paid downloads are also charged only after the file is verified, and a failed download costs nothing. There are no cash refunds; if our service fails, the amount goes back to your wallet balance. How this compares with a “debrid free trial”
Some debrid services have offered time-limited trials or a few free days in the past. Those terms change often, so check each provider’s own site rather than a comparison page. The difference with a permanent free tier is mainly one of shape:
- A trial gives you full access for a short time, then asks for payment.
- A free tier gives you limited access indefinitely, with no end date and nothing to cancel.
DebridMaster’s free tier is the second kind. It will not cover heavy use, and it is not meant to.
FAQ
Do I need a card or crypto for the free tier? No. An account with a working email address is enough.
Why was my free download blocked? The most common reasons: the file is over 512 MB, the host is a Plus host, you are on a VPN or proxy, your email is from a disposable-address service, you have used 2 files or 1 GB today, or the 30-minute cooldown has not passed yet.
Can I combine free and paid downloads? Yes. Choose paid for anything outside the free rules, and use the free option when a file qualifies.
Do free downloads work on FileJoker? No. FileJoker, FilesMonster and Upstore are Plus hosts and need a paid download.
How long is the free link valid? 24 hours, with resume support. Paid links last 72 hours.
